Andrew L. Lane, 95, Apt. No. 98 Robert E. Lee, East Sevier Avenue, died at 5:35 p.m. Thursday (Oct. 17, 1991) at Holston Val­ley Hospital and Medical Center after an extended illness.
Born in Fort Blackmore, Va., he had been a resident of Kingsport most of his life. He was a self-employed carpenter.
He was a member of Victory Hill Holiness Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Bessie Peters Lane in 1971.
Surviving are three daughters, Stella Fritz, Mary Showalter and Kathleen Cutler, all of Kingsport; one son, Pierson H. Lane, Los Angeles, Calif.; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchil­dren; two sisters, Beaulah Ball and Grace Dingus, both of Kingsport; one step sister, Relia Storm, Illinois.
Calling hours are from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at Oak Hill Fu­neral Home.
Services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday from the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Leon C. Salyer and the Rev. Charles H. Patrick officiating.
Friends will serve as pallbear­ers.
Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.
