Mr Lampe was a lifelong resident of Milan Township, Allen County. He was a retired farmer. He was a lifelong member of Goeglein St Peter's Lutheran Church.
Surviving are the wife, Katie; three sons, Emil, RR1, New Haven, Elwin of Woodburn and Carl of LaGrange; two sisters, Mrs Minnie Goeglein of New Haven and Mrs Anna Gerke of Fort Wayne; 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 1:30 pm Friday in the Oetting Funeral Home in harlan and at 2 in the Goeglein St Peter's Lutheran Church, the Rev Henry Abram officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call after 7 :30 pm today at the funeral home. Fort Wayne Journal Gazette - June 23, 1954
