Mrs Sophia Busche, aged 69, died at 5:20 o'clock this morning at St Joseph's hospital after a three weeks' illness of complications. She was a member of St Peter's Lutheran church, at Goeglein. Her father Diedrich Lampe, died September 18, 1928. Surviving are her husband, Ernest; seven children, Mrs Louise Pierre, of this city; Louis and Herman Busche, of Milan township, and Fred and Otto of St Joseph township; Alfred of this city, and Lawrence, at home; four sister, Mrs Louise Hauschild and Mrs Fred Gerke, of Fort Wayne; Mrs William Dressler, of St Joseph township, and Mrs William Goeglein of Milan township; five brothers, Fred, Diedrich and Louis Lampe, of Milan township, and Herman of this city, and 20 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at the home Sunday, at 1:30 o'clock, standard time, and at St Peter's Lutheran church at 2 o'clock, the Rev AC Doerfler officiating. Burial in church cemetery, K Mumma and the Rev AL Weaver officiating. Burial in Lutheran cemetery. Fort Wayne Sentinel - February 6, 1929
