Fern was the daughter of A. H. and Maude McKenzie Gipson.
May 20, 1924 she married Gerald Kreisher, son of Benjamin Dennis and Lucy Josephine Mitten Kreisher. They resided in Kirklin, Clinton Co., Indiana. They had no children.
She taught music and art at the elementary and high school level for 41 years. Fern was also a member of the Kirklin Christian Church and was the church organist for 55 years. She also belonged to Eastern Star and Dorcas Society.
She died at home in Kirklin, after an illness of four months. Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. November 20, 1967 at Hinshaw Funeral Home, Kirklin, Clinton Co., Indiana.
