LAKE WORTH - Ansel "Hap" Dawson Jr., 80, a retired Texas Kenworth diesel mechanic, died Saturday, Sept. 5, 1998, at a nursing center.
Graveside service: 10 a.m. Tuesday in Mount Olivet Cemetery.
Visitation: 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Monday at Biggers Funeral Home.
Ansel Dawson Jr. was born May 14, 1918, in Maypearl. He was a long time Fort Worth area resident and has lived in Lake Worth for more than 30 years. He was a diesel mechanic for Texas Kenworth prior to his retirement in 1986. He was preceded in death by his wife, Retha Hannan Dawson, a daughter, Marsha Kay Dawson and his parents, Ansel and Lola Dawson Sr. Survivors: Stepchildren, James Douglas Hannan and Nancy Hannan Fulkerson, both of Fort Worth; brother and sister-in-law, Bill J. and Claudia
