Christopher Ooley was born the son of John & Martha J Carpenter Ooley.

He married Matilda Johnson Sept 6, 1829 in Greene Co, IN.

At present, these are the children I have found recorded:

ELIZABETH. ca Nov 1832
ANDREW JACKSON. ca 1834
SALLY. ca 1836
ISABELLE. Oct 16, 1839
LUCINDA. Jan 27, 1840
JOHN C. Sept 16, 1852
MANERVA. Sept 16, 1852

Although not recorded on the cemetery records by the DAR of Owen Co, IN, both his wife, Matilda, and brother, John, are recorded as being buried there side by side, and I feel confident that Christopher is with them. The Leach cemetery is on the land that his parents owned until their death and their son, John, owned until his death when inherited by his widow.
