Mr. Berry Lucas after a painful illness of several weeks died at the state sanitarium at Milledgeville on Saturday afternoon. Mr. Lucas was an old citizen of the county, born and reared in Panhandle district. He was a long member of Crowell Methodist church and oft praised the Lord in song and prayer. His death carries sorrow to the hearts of many as he was known and loved by all. His remains were interred at Crowell Monday morning.
