"Miss Miranda Tefft, one of Oneonta's most aged residents, died at the home of Mr. and Mrs. D. Kohn, Sunday her death resulting from a fall she sustained Saturday. Miss Tefft was born at Pierstown, nearly ninety-two years ago, the daughter of Jesse Tefft and Hester Wheeler. She went to Oneonta, about twenty-two years ago and had since made her home with Mr. and Mrs. Kohn. She was an aunt of Mrs. S. Kohn and a great aunt of Mrs. D. Kohn. The funeral was held at 10 o'clock Wednesday morning, from the house at East End. The Rev. Granville Rathbone officiated. The body was placed in the vault and later interred at Pierstown."
