Mrs. Nellie A. Quatro, 98, of Cortland passed away on Saturday, March 30, 2013 at Cortland Regional Rehab. & Nursing Facility. Born, September 4, 1914 in Cortland, Nellie was the daughter of Michael and Martha Burnham Alexander.

Nellie was a communicant of St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church and was employed by Smith-Corona for many years before retiring in 1978.

Survivors include her 2 sons, Louis Quatro of Florida and James Quattro of Cortland, and her daughter, Ann Marie Manderano of Rochester, 7 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, several half brothers and sisters and many nieces and nephews.

Nellie was preceded in death by her husband, Louis in 1971 and by a great granddaughter, Lisa Schlobohm.

In keeping with her wishes, Funeral services, visitation and burial in St. Mary' s Catholic Cemetery were private. Arrangements were under the direction of Riccardi Funeral Home 69 N.
