Lois Jean Adams Plummer, 84, of Belpre, Ohio, died on April 3, 2013, at Camden Clark Medical Center, St. Joseph's Campus.

She was born June 12, 1928 in Parkersburg, and was the daughter of the late Jackson Ray and Agnes Leona Bruney Adams. She attended Belpre High School, and was a member of the Belpre Congregational Church. She had worked for the Vienna K-Mart for 23 years. She loved her family and helped raise Paul Adams' children after their mother died. She loved to fish and play cards. She was a member of the Belpre Order of Eastern Star #541.

Survivors include her sister Betty (Gene) Hutchinson of Belpre, her brother Paul (Jan) Adams of Parkersburg, her nieces and nephews, Carole Winegar, Barbara Reichard, David Adams, Debra Stewart, Cheryl Stuart, Tina Adams, Denise Johnson, Paul Adams, Vicky Pickens, Lisa Germick, and Doris Stover.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Ray Plummer in 2006, and five brothers and sisters.

Services will be on Saturday, 11 a.m., at the Leavitt Funeral Home, Belpre with Pastor Jeffery Atwater officating. Burial will follow in the Rockland Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home today from 4-8 p.m. Eastern Star services will be held today at 8 p.m. and one hour prior to services.

Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
