BIG BEND - Funeral services for Bobby Barone of Lettsworth will be held on Saturday July 28, 2018 beginning at 11 a.m. at the Grace Community Church in McCrea with Pastor Larry Thibodeaux officiating. Burial will be held at Big Bend Baptist Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Escude Funeral Home.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 27, 2018 beginning at 5 p.m. until 10 p.m. and will resume Saturday morning at 8 a.m. at the church.
Bobby Barone, age 81, passed away on Monday, July 23, 2018 at Christus St. Francis Cabrini Hospital in Alexandria. Born on April 17, 1937, he was retired from boilermaking and GNG Farms. He loved gardening and spending time with family.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Geneva Barone; parents, Rosaline and Joe Barone; sister, Barbara Gaspard; and grandson, Christopher Ramsey.
Those left to cherish his memory are his daughters, Annette (Kent) Lemoine of Lettsworth, Konnie (Tim) Bowman of Lettsworth, and Angela (Jeff) Ramsey of Batchelor; nine grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
