Funeral services for Barbara Gaspard will be at 10 a.m. Monday, November 10, 2008 in the chapel of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie with the Rev. David Newton officiating. Burial will follow in the Pythian Cemetery in Bunkie. Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.
Mrs. Gaspard, 64, of Batchelor, passed away Saturday, November 8, 2008 in Pineville.
She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.
She is preceded in death by her parents; Joe Joseph and Rosaleen Whitten Barone.
Survivors include her husband, Dayton Gaspard of Batchelor; three sons, Jody Ortego and his wife Alice of Lettsworth, Michael Ortego and his wife Melissa of Batchelor, Shawn Gaspard of Innis; two daughters, Cindy Gaspard of Shreveport, and Renee Mayeaux and her husband Joe of Hamburg; two brothers, Bobby Barone of Lettsworth, Roland Barone of Bunkie; one sister, Lorraine Earles of Bunkie; eleven grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
