She was born, Anna Comeau on 20 Sept 1834 in Bathurst, NB. She married Antoine Daigle on 6 Nov 1859. He died in 1880. They had four children James, Ellen, Phoebe and Isaac. In 1885 she married a veteran of the Civil War and Indian Wars, Jacob Butler Gage. They first lived in North Dakota, then came to Washburn. He died in 1890. She died in 1916.
