Arlene Langley, 71, of 517 S. Willow Ave., a lifelong resident of Sioux Falls, died Saturday, March 28th, in McKennan, Hospital.

Arlene Ingalls was born Feb. 28, 1916 in Sioux Falls. She married Leo R Langley July 14, 1935, in Sioux Falls.

She was employed as secretary of Our Savior's Lutheran Church from 1947-1957, and served on various committees and boards at the church. Mrs. Langley was a Girl Scout leader for many years and a member of ALCW of St. John's Lutheran Church.

Survivors include her husband; a son, David, of Humboldt; a daughter, Mrs. Gary (Dorothy) Carlson, of Troy, NY; and three grandchildren.

Services will begin at 1 p.m. Thursday in St. John's Lutheran church, with burial in Woodlawn Cemetery.

Visitation with the family present will be from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Miller Funeral Home.

The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to McKenna Hospice.
