FAMILY/RESEARCH NOTES:
1. MARRIAGE: License #173 --- Robert H. H. Hester & Miss Abigail Barnet married 16 MAR 1848 by Richard Ellis in Gonzales County, Texas.

2. FAMILY: 3 children --- Mary Barnett b.23 MAR 1851 (my g-grandmother), Matilda Lucille b.10 SEP 1854, & George Washington b.12 MAR 1856.

3. CENSUS: 1850 Gonzales Co., TX.

4. DEATH: "Died From A Bear Hug" is the story passed down in our family. Search as I might, I have found no record or grave site for her or Robert in Gonzales or DeWitt counties. Believe Abigail dies after MAR 1856 & before MAR 1858 in the Cheapside community.

5. NOTES:
(1) According to deed records, Robert & Abigail moved from Gonzales Co. to DeWitt Co. about 1851.
(2) My g-grandmother's death certificate states she was born in DeWitt Co., but no information on her sibling's death records.
(3) Robert H. H. Hester remarries in DeWitt County in March 1858.
