Mrs. Chard was born May 15, 1885 in Williams County, Ohio. She was a member of the North Scott Christian Church and its Ladies Aid.
Surviving are two sons, Robert of Route 4, Angola and Benton of Leo; seven grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. today at the Weicht Funeral Home with the Reverend Malcolm Meston, pastor of the Metz Church of Christ, officiating. Interment followed in South Scott Cemetery.
