Mrs. Ada M. Loe Dies This Morning Rites Wednesday
Mrs. Ada M. Loe, 82, R 2 Richland township, died at 2 a.m. today at the Parkview Hospital, Fort Wayne, where she had been a patient since Saturday evening. She had been in failing health for more than three years and during the past four years had been a resident at the Allen County Health Center.
Mrs. Loe was a native of Richland township. and was born on the Butler farm three miles east of Larwill, on September 17, 1890, a daughter of Richard and Adelle Howard Butler.
Her formative years were spent in the Wilson Lake and Larwill communities. Following her graduation from the Larwill High School she was united in marriage to Jess R. Loe. They resided on the farm in Richland township.
For a number of years she was employed at the Fiber Form Company and her last employment was at the
Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne.
The surviving relatives include three sons, R. Stuart Loe, Larwill; R. Stanley Loe, Fort Lauderdale, Florida; Phil C. Loe, Fort Wayne; two sisters, Mrs. Josephine Kelly, Adrian, Mich. and Mrs. Irene Lansdown, Anaheim, Calif., nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Two brothers, Carl and Millard, and three sisters, Crystal, Ella, and Ida preceded her in death.
The body is at the Smith and Sons Funeral Home where friends may call after 7 p.m. Tuesday. The Rev. Graham L. Kleespie, pastor emeritus of the Grace Lutheran Church, will officiate at the funeral service to be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. at the funeral home.
Committal services and burial will follow the funeral home rites in the South Park Cemetery.

Loe Rites
Funeral services for Mrs. Ada M. Loe, Richland township native, were held Wednsday morning at the Smith and Sons Funeral Home with the Rev. Graham L. Kleespie, pastor emeritus of the Grace Lutheran Church, officiating. Mrs. Gary Combs played the organ prelude and postlude including the special hymns, The Old Rugged Cross and Rock Of Ages.
The pallbeareres, nephews and a grandson of Mrs. Loe were John Mathias, Jess Mathias, Glen Beasley, Wayne Beasley, Lynn C. Young and John Zorger.
Committal services and burial followed the funeral home rites in the South Park Cemetery.
