Chief Isparhecher (Creek) (aka: Is-pa-he-che/Spa-he-cha) was the son of Yar-de-ka Tush-tn-nug-ga and Ke-char-te.
He became a farmer and stockman after the Creek Removal to IT. He served 1 yr as 4th Sgt., Co., K, 1st Reg. of Creek Mounted Vol. in the CSA. After this service he enlisted in the service on May 12, 1863 at Ft. Gibson as a Pvt., Co. K, 1st Reg. of the Indian Home Guards, Union Army, where fhe rose to the rank of Sgt.
He became a member of the "House of Warriors" in 1867. He was Dist. Judge of the Muscogee Dist. (1872-74); and School Trustee for the Salt Creek School (1874-75); he was a Delegate for the Creek Nation to Washington DC; and was Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of the Creek Nation in 1895. He became Principal Chief of the Creek Nation 1895-99).
Chief Isparhecher married before the Civil War (1) Pollkissut, daughter of Poskfa, who died leaving a son Washington.
He married and divorced (2) Lucy Barnett and had 4 children: Sarwarhee, Annie, Gabriel, and Kizzie.
He married (3) Alma Harrover in Washington DC on 4 Jun 1884; they were divorced on 28 Nov 1891.
He married on 26 Mar 1896, (4) Cindoche Sixkiller, a young Indian woman some 36 yrs his junior and who survived him, dying on 14 Jun 1931.
He rests in a family burying ground on the homestead allotment of his wife, Cindoche, on the ne quarter of the nw quarter of Section 34 in Township 15 N and Range 11 E, in Okmulgee Co., OK; a plain marble slab stands. He belonged to the Tiger Clan and to Cussetah Town; his Creek Roll is 1226.
