Hico - SPL - Funeral services for Edgar Horace Stone, 71, longtime resident of the Hico area were held Thursday at First Baptist Church in Hico. Rev. B.F. Jones of Dublin officiated. Burial was in Hico Cemetery. Mr. Stone, a farmer, suffered a heart attack Tuesday and died in route to a Hico hospital. Surviving are six daughters, Mrs. Ruby Jackson of Abernathy, Mrs. Bernice Suitts of Odessa, Mrs. Viva Jackson of Crosbyton, Mrs. Delma Jones of Midland, Mrs. Marie Hughes and Mrs. Ferne Robinson, both of Dallas; three sons, J.T. Stone of Orange, Don Stone of Dublin and Pete Stone of Dallas; three sisters, Mrs. Ola Edwards of Hico, Mrs. Lucy Edwards and Mrs. Kate Bailey of Corpus Christi; three brothers, Pat Stone of Gladewater; Dave Stone of Electra and Howard Stone of Houston; 19 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
