MEDINA, ELODIA ARMENTA 99, passed away at home the evening of Tuesday, April 19th, in presence of her family. She was born on October 22, 1905 to Eladio and Maria de Jesus Armenta in Guanajuato Mexico. She has been a resident of Colton since 1913. She is preceded in death by her husband Miguel Medina of 36 years, sister Maria Rivera and son-in-law Paul Arrieta. She is survived by her son Ralph A. Medina and daughter-in-law Ruth of Colton, and daughter Armida Arrieta of Bloomington, and eight grandchildren; Ralph, Mike (Melinda), Carmen (Gilbert), Carol (Donald), Ruth Ann (Jose), James (Veronica), John (Marie), and Emily (Mark). Followed by 27 great grand children and 12 great-great grandchildren. She was a homemaker and member of San Salvador Catholic Church. Elodia was also known as "Little Grandma" loved to cook for her family and friends, and especially enjoyed gardening. The family wishes to thank the staff of Odyssey Hospice Care, for their compassion and service. She will be greatly missed by all of her family and friends. Rosary and mass will be held on Monday, April 25, 10:00 a.m. at San Salvador Catholic Church in Colton. Burial services will immediately follow at Colton Hermosa Cemetery
