She was a graduate of the Culinary Institute of American in Hyde Park, New York. Before her retirement she was employed as a casher for Food Town in East Brunswick for 10 years. Karen was a communicant of Saint Stanislaus Kostka R. C. Church in Sayreville. She was a former member of Girl Scouts of American, East Brunswick Grange #151 and Pioneer Granger #1 in Dayton. She is presently a member of New Jersey State Grange, Hunterdon Pomona #5, Lawrenceville Grange 170 and Hightstown #96 and Master of Mercer Pomona #5.
Surviving are her parents Elwood & Edna Klein Jensen of East Brunswick, her sister Valerie Jensen of Sayreville, her cousins Charles, Mitchel, Michael, Nicholas, Kim and Holly Molteg.
Funeral services will be held at the Maliszewski Funeral Home 218 Whitehead Avenue, South River, NJ followed by a mass at Saint Stanislaus Kostka R. C. Church in Sayreville with burial to follow at Saint Stanislaus Cemetery, Sayreville, NJ.
