Henderson Roberts, 66, of Bladenboro, died Monday, November 20, 2006 at Bladen County Hospital.
Born April 20, 1940 in Bladen County, he was the son of Theodore and Idell Roberts.
He retired from the Newport News Shipyard after working there for many years. After his retirement he made his home in the county where he was born.
Mr. Roberts is predeceased by his father and mother; wife, Barbara Ann Roberts; and brother, Harry Roberts.
He is survived by his son, Donald Roberts and wife Tina of Chesapeake, Virginia; brothers, Bobby Roberts of Bladenboro, and Preston "Pete" Roberts of Lumberton; and one grandchild, Taylor.
The visitation will be held from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 21, 2006 at Bladen Funeral Home. The funeral will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 22, 2006 at Bethel Baptist Church, Dublin with Rev. Kevin Maples officiating. Burial will follow in the Roberts Cemetery.
