On 27 February 1855 Mary Cannon joined her sister Sarah Cannon Jordan & husband James Francis Jordan and their three small children. Set sail from Liverpool, England on the ship Siddons bound for America. They came overland with the second company with Jacob F. Secrist as Captain. This company included the Danish emigrants and part of the British Independent Company. Arrived in Salt Lake City 7 Sept 1855.
