After his graduation from Cement High School in 1941, Jesse Langford proudly served his country with distinction in the U.S. Army during WWII in two theaters with the 979th Engineers Maintenance Company.
He worked in the oil and gas industry his entire professional career which culminated as the Oklahoma City manager of Homco International leaving in 1981. He retired in 1984 after selling his own company, Triple L Service, Inc.
He was a caring and generous man, who was especially known for his devotion to his wife of 66 years, Patty Marie Langford. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Darla Jean Pirooz of Huntington Beach, California, Jesse Langford, Jr. and wife Jennifer of Edmond, Peggy Schwarz and husband Mark of Yukon, Patrick Langford and wife Candee of Edmond and William Langford and wife Vicky of Oklahoma City; 13 Grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his daughter, Barbara Langford Fox; brother, A. D. Langford; and his sister, Julia Wells. In lieu of flowers, memorials were requested for The Hope Center of Edmond, 1251 N Broadway, Edmond, OK 73034.
