Gordon D. "Bill" Birkett, 74, of 716 S. Jefferson St., Cuba City, died Thursday morning, Nov. 20, 1986, at the Southwest Health Center, Platteville.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Haudenshield Funeral Home, Cuba City, where friends may call from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday. Burial will be in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Cuba City.
Mr. Birkett worked for the city of Cuba City for 19 years until he retired.
Surviving are his wife, the former Dorothy Bray; a son, Bill of Dayton, Ohio; three stepdaughters, Lori Segerstrom of Madison, Mrs. David (Susan) Haskins of Platteville and Mrs. David (Peggy) Reuter of Potosi; a stepson, Tom Segerstrom of Beloit; two grandchildren and seven step-grandchildren; a brother, Aldro of Galena, Jo Daviess Co., ILl; and two sisters, Jeraldine Swan of Dubuque and Charlene Hawkins of Georgia.
A Gordon D. Birkett Memorial Fund has been established.
