John W. "Bubby" Reaves Jr., 74, of Paducah died at 2:48 a.m. Sunday at Western Baptist Hospital.
Mr. Reaves was a retired boat pilot for Luhr Brother Contractors. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War and received a Purple Heart. He was a member of Ledbetter Lodge No. 952 F.&A.M.
Surviving are a daughter, Jonna Faye Bradley of Calvert City; two sons, Harold A. Reaves and Michael K. Reaves, both of Paducah; a sister, Dorothy Stichter of Denver; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Loma June Darnell Reaves. His parents were John W. Reaves Sr. and Ruby Mae Moyers Yarbrough.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah. The Rev. Mike Donald will officiate, with burial in Mount Kenton Cemetery.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home, where Masonic rites will be conducted at 7.
