Miss Josephine Nelson, 61, died Wednesday morning at the home of her niece, Miss Gladys Alfson, of 2126 LaFollette avenue, with whom she had made her home.
Private funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Berge funeral home, Valders, and the body will be moved to the Gjerpen Lutheran church where final rites will take place at 2 p.m. The Rev. R. B. Walden will officiate and interment will be in the church cemetery.
Miss Nelson was born in Cato in 1883 and made her home on a farm in that town until three years ago when she came to this city to reside with her niece.
The latter is the only survivor.
The body may be viewed at the funeral home after 6 p.m. Friday.
