Mrs. Myrtle Elizabeth Hunnell, 62 years, widow of Oscar Hunnell of Pine Bank R. D. 1, died Monday, May 15, 1961, in her home. Death was due to a cerebral hemorrhage. Mrs. Hunnell was a daughter of Andrew and Eliza Whitehill Braden, and was born February 18, 1899, at Pentress, W. Va. She had resided almost all her life in the Brave area, and was a member of the Assembly of God Church. Her husband died in 1955. Surviving are her step-father, Jacob H. Simpson of Wana, W. Va.; three sons, Wayne Emerson Hunnell of Wana, W. Va., and Charles Edward and Gail T. Hunnell, both of Pine Bank R. D. 1; three grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Estella Tennant of Waynesburg R. D. 5, and Mrs. Laura Stiles of Jefferson, and a half-sister, Mrs. Bertha Phillips of Fairmont, W. Va. A son, William, died in 1927. A half-sister, Mrs. Mary Lippencott of Waynesburg, is also deceased.
