Mrs. Laura Belle Stiles, 72, of Waynesburg R. D. 2, died at 6:30 a.m. Saturday April 30, 1966, in the Curry Memorial Home.
She was born Feb. 8, 1894, in Wayne Township near Brave, to the late Andy and Eliza Whitehill Braden.
Mrs. Stiles spent the early part of her life near Brave but for the past several years resided in the Waynesburg area where she was a member of the Washington Street Methodist Church.
Surviving are: her husband, Edward Stiles, whom she married Nov. 2, 1916; her step-father, Jake Simpson, of Wana, W, Va., R. D. 1; one daughter, Winifred, wife of Ellsworth Ankrom, of Scottsdale, ariz.; one son, Wilbur, of Scotch Plains, N. J.; four grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Bertha Phillips, of Fairmont, W. Va.; and several nieces and nephews.
One infant daughter and three sisters, Mary, Estella and Myrtle, are deceased.
