MRS. OLAVA STRAND
Mrs. Olava Strand died at her residence, 703 South D street Friday afternoon following a short illness. She is survived by her husband, Ludwig H. Strand, three daughters, Mrs. Octava Matras, Mrs. Hilda Mall and Mrs. Dagmar Vredenberg, three sons, Oscar, Alber and Edwin Olsen, 19 grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Mrs. Strand was a native of Norway and had resided in Pensacola for the past 55 years.
Funeral services will be conducted from the residence Sunday afternoon at 3:00 o'clock, with the Rev. W. C. Schrader, pastor of the Immanuel Lutheran church officiating. The following will act as pallbearers: Honorary will be the following grandchildren, Adrian Olsen, Arthur Olsen, Harry Olsen, Fredrick Vredenburg, and Harold Olsen. Active will be Ira Mall, Ruddy Lambert, Alvin Bjorensen, August Hayno, Roy Carlin and Donald Hommeland.
Interment will be in St. John's cemetery. Waters and Hibbert are in charge.
