WASHINGTON BUREAU OF THE TIMES, Dec. 1. - [Exclusive Dispatch.] George F. Nichols has been appointed postmaster at El Casco, Riverside county, vice F. A. Goetting.

The following postmasters have been continued in office under civil service: Pearl Ellsworth, Aguanga, Riverside County: Samuel Schladoer, Moreno, Riverside County: L. Matthews, Wildomar, Riverside County: Gustave Brauer, Silver Lake, San Bernardino County: Charles A. Bergen, Potrero, San Diego county.

SAMUEL SCHLADOR

Funeral services for Samuel Schlador, 94, retired postmaster, will be conducted at 2 p.m. today in W. A. Brown & Son Funeral Home with interment in Olivewood Cemetery, Riverside. Born in Texas, he came here 63 years ago and died Thursday at his home, 1120 W. Edgeware Road. He leaves three daughters, Mrs. Elizabeth Gadden, Mrs. Harriett Armentraut and Mrs. Mary Rose Schuster; three sons, Charles, Samuel B., and William Schlador; six grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
