Karen Brown Lindeman passed away on Saturday, April 20, 2013. A memorial service was held Thursday, April 25, 2013 at First Baptist Church, Lockney TX with Rev. Nathan Mulder and Rev. Jonathan Sullivan officiating.

Karen was born on April 14, 1943 in Lockney TX, the only child of Arthur and Mary Nell Calahan Brown. She graduated from Lockney High School in 1961 and remained life long friends with many of her classmates. She attended Texas Tech University and cosmetology school, She was a member of First Baptist Church, Lockney TX.

After completing her education she married and became a wife, homemaker and mother to Christopher Thomas Cooper and Cynthia Ka Cooper.

She married AW Lindeman February 24, 1990 in Lubbock, TX. They made their home in the Claytonville Community and later moved to Plainview TX.

Karen owned and operated Homemade Etc. and operated a booth at Uniques and Antiques Mall in Plainview. She had a passion for going to auctions, garage sales and flea markets, searching for her latest treasures.

She is survived by her husband, AW Lindeman, son Chris Cooper of Lubbock TX and daughter, Cindy and husband David Holahan; two grandsons, Dustin Stanford and Calahan Stanford, all of Plainview.
