WINIFRED WATSON GRIMM passed away Friday, the 11th of May 2007, in Houston, Texas. Winifred was born on the 6th of September 1916 in Oil City, Louisiana. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, the late Paul Robert Grimm, and sister Maxine Watson Newsome. Winifred is survived by her daughters, Patricia Ann Grimm, Sharon Dies and her husband Martin, and Kathleen Wendel; granddaughters, Rebecca Kathleen Wendel and Lauren Elizabeth Dies; and brother, Jack Watson. The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to Welthey Huntsberry and Cynthia Burton for their loving care and devotion. A private funeral service was held on the 15th of May in the Jasek Chapel of Geo. H. Lewis & Sons, 1010 Bering Drive in Houston. In lieu of usual remembrances, the family suggests contributions in memory of Winifred Watson Grimm be directed to the American Stroke Association, a division of the American Heart Association, 10060 Buffalo Speedway, Houston, Texas, 77054.
