Angel was an exceptionally sweet and beloved little black toy poodle. She was acquired shortly after her 'Mommy' suffered a miscarriage, and needed something to hold. Although there were other children in the family, Angel instinctively knew that she was sent to comfort her mom, and was always near her. She was very smart, and learned tricks very quickly. She could sit, dance, jump over a stick, sit-up pretty, and loved to ride in the basket of her mom's bicycle. One day, for unexplained reasons, she began to drag her back legs as she ran to greet her daddy at the door. We rushed her to the vet, who told us there was nothing he could do. He showed us how to express her bladder, and we took her home. She lived for three months, and even regained enough use of her legs where she could stand. But she had to stay in her kennel all the time, both to protect her and to keep messes to a minimum. She was so unhappy and unable to be the pet she use to be. So, we sent her to the Rainbow Bridge to wait for us...

There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.
They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster. You have been spotted! And when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet,so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.
