Anna Fereday is the daughter of English born parents, Samuel and Ann (Robinson /Rodison/ Rollisson) Fereday. Ann Derflinger dies on Christmas Day of 1930. She is the wife of Dave Derflinger.

Obituary--
Mrs. Anna Derflinger
Anna Fereday was born April 2, 1856 at Pittsburgh, Pa., and as a small girl came to Iowa with her parents and located at Arlington, Iowa, on a farm where she grew to womanhood.
In the year 1875 she was united in marriage to David Derflinger, and to this union were born two children, Thomas and Ray, who are her immediate survivors.
Among the other relatives, besides her brothers Benjamin, Isaac and Allen are two sisters, Mrs. Charlotte Higman of Manchester, Ia. and Mrs. Mary Barrett of Milwaukee, Wis.
She leaves also one granddaughter Doris Derflinger of Valley Jct., Ia.
She moved to Oelwein 51 years ago and has been a resident since.
She was a member of the Christian church for the past 30 years.
She was well known to the many Oelwein friends and beloved by all who held her in high esteem.
She has been a patient sufferer for the past two years with dropsy and other ailments.
She departed this life Dec. 25 at 11:40 a.m. and went home to her Father in Heaven on the great day of days, Christmas day. Internment was at Union cemetery, twelve miles east of Oelwein, Saturday, December 27th.

Here is a death notice for her husband who precedes her in death by 22 years:
DAVID DERFLINGER DIED FRIDAY EVE
The death of David Derflinger occurred at the family residence in South Oelwein Friday at 9:25 p.m. after a serious illness of less than twenty-four hours from paralysis. The last services will occur from the Christian church Monday at 1:30 p.m. Rev. C. L. McKim officiating.
David Derflinger was born in Ohio* sixty-two years ago and came west when a young man, and has been a resident of Oelwein for about thirty years. He was well known in this city. He leaves a wife and two sons, Thomas and Ray to mourn his loss.

*He was actually born July 25, 1846, in Virginia, though he does register for the Civil War draft in Ohio.
