Abbott, 79 [Aug. 14] , who died Thursday morning at People's Hospital, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday; survivors include his wife, a son, Eugene, and three daughters, Mrs. Raymond Gates, Mrs. Glen Kirkendall and Mrs. Henry Nielsen, all of Independence; burial at Mount Hope Cemetery.
