OBITUARY- Columbus, Georgia News, July 20, 1905

Mr. Ware a son of the late Dr. and Mrs. R. W. Ware, of Columbus, and was born and reared in this city, where he had scores of warm, personal friends to whom the news of his death will carry a pang of sorrow. He was 54 years of age at the time of his death, and all but the past 20 years of his life was spent in Columbus. He was a member of the former show firm of Bedell & Ware, and was prominent and popular in local business circles for years. Some 20 years ago he moved to Macon, and lived in that city until about four years ago, when he moved to Birmingham. Since residing in the latter city he has been traveling representative of a wholesale grocery house.
Mr. Ware was twice married - first to Miss Maggie Cushman, and afterwards to Miss Lula Matthews, of Macon, who survives him. He is also survived by the following children: Mrs. Bennett Van Houten, of Macon; Misses Ethel and Louise, and Joseph, Robert and Rabun Ware. He is survived by two sisters, Mrs. J. E. Martin, of Columbus, and Mrs. M. E. Willis, of Macon.
Mr. Ware is survived by the following nieces and nephews in Columbus; Mrs. J. S. Harrison, Mrs. W. R. Bedell, Miss Dell Ware, Mrs. W. S. Matthews, Mr. J. E. Ware and Mr. R. C. Bedell.
