Creighton Charles Miller, age 86, passed away Thursday, May 2, 2013, in Tabor, Iowa.

Creighton was born on the family farm in Keg Creek Township on July 18, 1926, to Frederick and Marie (Fahrenkrug) Miller and graduated from Abraham Lincoln High School. He was united in marriage to Marjorie Johnk on September 25, 1949. Creighton was a longtime farmer in rural Henderson, Iowa, before moving to Council Bluffs in 1995. His many accomplishments include, former Mills County Supervisor, 4-H leader, rural youth group and members of St. John's Lutheran Church in Hastings, Iowa, where he served on the church council, and while in Council Bluffs a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church.

He is preceded in death by his parents, brother Fred Miller and great-grandson Devin Michael Carr.

Survivors include his loving family, wife of almost 64 years, Marjorie of Tabor; daughters, Jane Burchett and husband Mike of Henderson, Iowa, and Sue Davis and husband Brad of Randolph, Iowa; 6 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren; brother, Gene Miller and wife Joyce of Omaha.
