She was the daughter of Fred and Hattie Mae (Sheppard) Pryor. She grew up and attended schools in the Indianola area. She married Manuel F. Woods on November 17, 1950, in McAlester.
She enjoyed bowling and had many bowling friends. She enjoyed living on the farm and was an avid seamstress and housewife.
She was of the Free Will Baptist faith.
Survivors include her husband, Manuel Woods, of the home; a daughter and son-in-law, Dianna and Paul West of McLoud, Oklahoma; a son and daughter-in-law, Charles and Lisa (Moss) Woods of Mounds, Oklahoma.
Also, three grandchildren, Paula Ann Cotney, Pamela Carter and Jeffery Ryan Woods; three great-grandchildren, Siera Paige West, Dillon David Cotney and Dawson Hamilton Cotney and four step-great-grandchildren.
