VIOLA NIBLACK WESTFALL

Viola Niblack was the daughter of John J Niblack, Jr and his wife, Adaline Miller. She was married 26 Sept. 1869, Wayne Co., MI, to Charles Westfall a son of Lewis Westfall and his wife, Catherine Glimpse.

Viola's parents came to Michigan from New York state in 1832 when they moved to MI, first settling in Saline, Washtenaw Co. in 1833 on 320 acres of land where Viola and her siblings were born. They lived in Macon Twp., Lenawee Co., MI. Viola and Charles also lived there during their first years of marriage. Their daughter, Jennie Westfall, was born there in March 1870.
They lived on their farm in Livonia Twp., Wayne Co., MI, by 1880. They had ten children:
