The old Ebenezer Methodist Episcopal Church was located just off Harpers Ferry Road near Neersville, in Loudoun County, Virginia. The remains of the church and cemetery are in terrible shape with the majority of the stones deep in the thicketts and brush.Baptized, July 17, 1791, New Jerusalem Evangelical Lutheran Church, Lovettsville, Loudoun County, Virginia

At his residence near Ebenezer Methodist Episcopal Church in this county on Dec. 2d, 1881. Mr. Conrad Virts, in the 91st year of his age. He was soldier in the war of 1812, and was honorably discharged. He was also a member of the Ebenezer Methodist Episcopal Church for many year and died in great peace, trusting in Christ. Many a weary itinerant preacher found comfort, shelter, and rest in his home.
