Sarah S. Hurley
SHREWSBURY - Sarah S. (Wolfgang) Hurley, 85, of Shrewsbury, formerly of Parkton, Md., died at 6 p.m. Thursday at Shrewsbury Lutheran Home. She was the wife of the late Joseph A. Hurley.
The service will be noon today at the Hartenstein Mortuary, 24 Second St., New Freedom. Burial will be in Mount Zion Cemetery, Freeland, Md. Viewing will be 10 a.m. to noon today at the mortuary.
Mrs. Hurley was born in Brodbecks. She was the daughter of the late Lewis and Rachel A. (Utz) Wolfgang.
Mrs. Hurley is survived by five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two brothers, Lewis Wolfgang of Seven Valleys, and John Wolfgang of Brodbecks; and five sisters, Mary Hilker of Glen Rock, Lizzie Anthony, Lettie Hershey and Eva Bossom, all of Hanover, and Emma Kohler of New Freedom.
Officiating at the service will be the Rev. Robert Barnes, pastor of Parke Memorial United Methodist Church, Parkton.

HURLEY - On Nov. 14, 1973, suddenly at his residence, Joseph A. Hurley, husband of Sarah Wolfgang Hurley, Stablersville Road, Parkton, Md., aged 60 years, 8 months, 20 days.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services on Friday, Nov. 16, at 2 p.m. at the Hartenstein Mortuary, New Freedom. Interment in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Freeland, Md.
Friends may call at the mortuary Thursday evening from 7 to 9.
