Cass Franklin was a singer in the early 30's, and even performed for Ed Sullivan. He sang on radio shows as well as at hotels and nightclubs. During his career, he recorded a number of albums with Apollo and Jubilee records, I appeared on the Ed Sullivan show twice, with his first partner Monica Moore, and also sang in Irving Klaw's "Varietease" with Bettie Page, Lili St. Cyr, and Monica Lane. He was part owner of the nightclub "The Latin Quarter" in New York, with Lou Walters of Lou Walters Enterprises.
