"Ralph Gabor, 88, of Madison, passed away Thursday, May 9, 2013 at The Lantern in Madison.

He was born in Madison on December 7, 1924 to Mary (Spa) and Damien Gabor.
Ralph married Klara Vendetti on September 6, 1952 at Immaculate Conception Church in Willoughby.

He served in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Europe during World War II. Ralph worked as a millwright for several years at the Diamond Shamrock and later retired from the Madison School District where he worked as a custodian. He loved working in his garden and many people were fortunate to receive his wonderful produce.

Mr. Gabor is survived by his daughter, Karen Gabor of Madison; sister-in-laws, Anita Gabor of Madison, Betty Gabor of N.C.; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, Andy, William, Albert, Edward and Alton Gabor; sisters, Mary Dale and Esther Fidel.

Visitation will be 10 to 11 a.m. Monday, May 13, 2013, at The Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River St., Madison. A Funeral Service will follow at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. William Alvey officiating.
Final Resting Place will be at Fairview Cemetery.
