Jennie LeBreton, born in the Channel Islands the Isle of Jersey parish of St Heliers is the daughter of Mary Ann LeBreton and William Le Breton. The Humphrey Newcomb bible only shows Mary Ann LeBreton, born July 26, 1810 and died July 26, 1876. The fathers's name has been found on the official marriage license from the Church of England. On the marriage record her name is listed as Jane Le Breton.
Jennie married first Parker Northing on July 27, 1864 according to the bible, but the marriage license shows July 27, 1867. The birth of Parker Northing, is recorded in the Newcomb bible, September 26, 1842 and death as May 28, 1877. Their daughter Louisa Mary Northing was born December 25, 1866, also on the Isle of Jersey. Jennie and her daughter would come to America sometime around 1878, where Jennie's sister, Elizabeth LeBreton Kent, had already come to America and lived in Portland, Maine. Where her husband, Parker and her mother Mary Ann are buried is unknown at this writing (May 19, 2013).
Jennie married her second husband, Charles E. Dye, on March 2, 1878.
