GUY J BUCKMAN DIES IN HOSPITAL

Was Long a Prominent Mason, and Interested in Patriotic Organizations

Guy J. Buckman died at St. Luke's hospital yesterday after an illness of over a year. He has been a resident of Denver for twenty years, coming to this city in 1890 from Lincoln, Neb.

Mr. Buckman was 83 years old. He was born in Morristown, N. Y., January 1, 1828. In Lincoln, Neb., he married Miss Barbara Ellwood, daughter of General Isaac Ellwood who died at Central City several years ago.

In Denver Mr. Buckman was a prominent Mason, and took great interest in patriotic organizations.

Two daughters survive him - Mrs. G. M. Laird, of Central City, wife of the editor of the Register-Call, and Mrs. Lottie Westman, of Denver.

The Masons will have charge of the funeral services Tuesday morning at 10 o'clock from the Westman residence, 1753 Franklin street, the Rev. C. B. Wilcox officiating.
