Clara (Henderson) DiPasquale, 94, of Vineland and formerly of Millville, died Friday, May 17, 2013, at the Bishop McCarthy Residence, where she had resided for the past 10 years.
Born in Millville, she had lived there most of her adult life. She was the youngest of 11 children.
She was a devoted mother, a loving grandmother and a doting great-grandmother.
She had worked as a housekeeper for Millville Hospital and retired in 1985. Prior to that she had worked for Suzie Belle Canning Co., several sewing factories, and had cleaned offices for area doctors and lawyers.
She attended the First Assembly of God Church of Millville.
She was a roller skating and dancing enthusiast. She loved to travel and vacation in Puerto Rico and Florida, and she made two trips to Hawaii. Clara looked forward to going to the beach during her summer off-times.
She is survived by her daughter, Joanne Bolton and husband Charles "Bill: of Millville; her son, Joseph "Sonny" DiPasquale and wife Charlotte; three grandchildren, Scott Bolton and wife Stephanie of Vineland, Danett Bolton and husband Anthony Bontempo of Vineland, and Jo Denise Muller and husband Ken of Vineland; six great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by a granddaughter Kimberly DiPasquale; four brothers, Elmer, G. Kenneth, Belford, and Corval "Bundle" Henderson; and six sisters, Emily Barnett, Ethel Nelson, Verna Felmey, Lillian Henderson, and twins Florence Morrow and Mae Stover.
Funeral services will be held in the Christy Funeral Home, 11 W. Broad St., Millville. There will be a viewing from in the funeral home before the service. Burial will be in Center Grove Methodist Cemetery.
