Funeral services for Mrs. Mattie Harris Horn, 82, were held Saturday at the Howe Funeral home in Boulder, Colo., followed by burial in Boulder.
A memorial service will be held Sunday, April 28, at 4 p.m. in First Baptist church in Rock Springs. The Rev. Michael Biro will conduct the memorial services. Mrs. Horn was a member of First Baptist church.
Relatives who attended the funeral service were a son, Wade Horn and his wife and their three children of San Leandro, Calif.; a stepson, Thomas Horn and his wife and their son, Harry of Rock Springs; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Thomas Cook and Mr. Cook of Ogden; three granddaughters, Suzanne, Teresa and Nancy Horn of Green River, daughters of the late Winton Horn.
Mrs. Horn died Wednesday in San Leandro, Calif., hospital and convalescent home. She was born Feb. 27, 1881, in Boulder, Colo., and had lived in Winton and Rock Springs 34 years. She left here in July, 1954, to make her home with her son, Wade Horn, in San Leandro.
Survivors are 10 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son, Winton Horn, and a stepson, Harry Horn.
Mrs. Horn was a member of Pythian Sisters and Royal Neighbors in Rock Springs.
