The funeral of Henry Goddard, for half a century connected with the Washburn & Moen branch of the American Steel & Wire Company, and one of the most prominent Masons in the state, was held yesterday afternoon at his home. Full Masonic services were conducted by Worcester County Commandery, Knights Templars.... the bearers were the four past eminent commanders of Worcester county commandery, Knight Templars, Francis A. Harrington, R. James Tatman, Robert H. Chamberlain and A. Frank Gates. The burial was at Rural Cemetery.
