DEATH OF MRS GRIMSLEY

Funeral Services Will Be Held at Residence Today


Mrs Sarah J Grimsley, wife of W M Grimsley, died at 9:30 o'clock Tuesday night at her home, 1801 Two Notch Road. Funeral servies will be held at 11 o'clock this morning at the residence and the interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery. The services will be conducted by the Rev A B Kennedy. Mrs Grimsley was 62 years of age. Death was due to a stroke of paralysis.

Funeral Services Held Thursday Morning

Funeral services of Mrs W M Grimsley, who died Tuesday evening at 9:15 o'clock, were held at her residence on East Laurel Street Thursday morning at 11:30 o'clock. She was laid to rest at Elmwood cemetery.

Mrs Grimsley was survived by her husband and the following children: Mrs J A Faust, Mrs Wylie Buechel, Mrs William Wiles of Columbia and Mrs G E McAlpin of Union Point, Ga, and F T Grimsley, W D Grimsley, H E Grimsley, S C Grimsley, E E Grimsley and L O Grimsley, with one brother, L A Marsh of Blythewood.

Mrs Grimsley was born October 19, 1851. She was formerly Miss Sarah Joanna Marsh. She was stricken with paralysis about nine months ago and thereafter was a constant sufferer up to her death. She was a faithful wife and mother, and was loved by a large circle of friends who mourn her death.
